I have had them a couple times, twinkles. They hurt like the devil. I just stood up and walked around until it slowly went away. The bottoms of my feet, arches, is where I get cramps all the time. Even when I'm sleeping.
Dr told me I had low potassium so I started taking a multivitamin for my restless leg crap at night. I also started to use slimfast to supplement my vitamin intake and all the cramps stopped. Turns out that 2 of the prescribed meds lowered my potassium, go figure.....
I'd never heard of this before, but sure glad to find out. Probably explains 2 episodes in my whole life that were a bit scary. Very painful. Why I remember them years later. I thought it was possibly heartburn, but that made no sense. Glad to know it's nothing serious.
hey nancynga--some times when you talk about things it doesnt sound so scary--some people get information from their doctor that your doctor dont tell you so you have to find out about it elseware
I have, jujube, and my doc told me that that is sort of what's happening -- bending too far over can sort of cause it to move wrong. It's a very painful and scary thing, but it goes away pretty quickly. I thought maybe it was some kind of weird heart attack symptom.
