Going To Olive Garden

Lucky You, Hal. Been there once & enjoyed it. It's too far away for me, but I'm not giving up on it.

Hope to give it another try. Like almost everything on their menu.

Bon Appetite.

Lucky you Hal. I love the Olive Garden. I have to eat gluten free for medical reasons and they have great gluten free pasta. The salad is always good as well. We always get a refill on that.

We have one close by, but have never eaten anything but lunch there for some odd reason. Feeling intrigued with their early dinner special for $8.99 3-5pm.

I've only been there once, and I think I had the Fettuccine Alfredo, pasta with cream sauce. I remember it was good. Whatever you order Hal I'm sure it will be good, let us know what you had....and enjoy!

The last time I was there I had a dish with seafood. Seafood alfredo or something like that. Very good. Like pretty much everything they have. Right now ours has a buy one take one home on select entrees. You buy one for 12.99 and pick another one to take home free. Its just for certain entrees. The salad and bread sticks are always good.

We went to Olive Garden tonight, but it was so crowded and had such a long wait, that we left and went to our favorite restaurant: Steer & Stein.

I ordered my favorite, which is also Falcon's favorite: Country Fried Steak!

Loved the 'Olive garden' in Florida that we used to go to.
Big bowl of salad and for me fettuccine alfredo, my hubby
liked the lasagna. There was one years back in Toronto
that we went to when visiting there, but it has been closed for years.

I've mostly been for lunch. Soup (Zuppa Toscana) , salad and bread sticks. I love soup and don't often make it because you can't make small amounts. Enjoy.

I live alone, and I make a big pot and freeze the rest in one or two serving sizes I've started using ziplock bags for that purpose. You just let the soup cool down and ladle it into the bag. When you're ready to use it, take it out of the bag while frozen and let it thaw. If you let it thaw in the bag, it is a big fat mess to get out. Works great for me and takes up less room in the freezer and I don't need 712 freezer containers.

I always make a big pot of soup in the fall, freeze in small containers and enjoy with Mexican cornbread in the winter. I even freeze the cornbread as it makes a large 9x13 pan. I cut in squares and put in a large ziplock. Easy supper.
