Many years back I was working with software, good old fashioned DOS products, some Linux products, and of coarse MS took over most all the DOS products and a couple Linux products as well. I lived through the MS generations of confusion with MS and now am at Win 10 for the second, or is it the third year, and more confused than ever. Things that I once had working want help to make them work in the latest Win 10.
So right now I would like to find something more basic, therefore more stable, and go back to trying Linux once again.
So my question of any use of Linux among this crowd.
It is not cost at all as most are rather low cost and some are free.
There was one some years back the was very easy to use and worked without flaws, until MS bought into them. Soon they became expired. Any one remember Xandros. Once part of another groups offerings but now gone forever.
Any inputs will be appreciated.
