Tomato soup was what my mom always had ready for us when we came in from the cold, really hot with a big chunk of butter floating in the bowl. Tomato soup is my go-to comfort food. And with a grilled cheese sammich? Nirvana!

I haven't tried it yet, but I came across a recipe that called for a jar of marinara sauce, a cup of heavy cream, and a large can or box of chicken stock. I would think that would be an easy rich tomato soup. One of these days, I'm going for it.

Us too! Love Costco’s barley soup too. When they go on sale, load up. Also the Broccoli Cheese soup.

Always had it when I was a kid on those cold days. Still do. Has to be Campbell’s condensed soup and made with milk, not water. Oyster crackers are a must.
