What New Shows Are You Watching (Or Have Checked Out)?

I have added The Good Doctor and The Gifted to my permanent T.V. roster. I loved The Good Doctor, about a young autistic, savant surgeon and really like The Gifted which is yet another Marvel show based loosely on The X-Men, complete with "mutants" fused with a story about family (both blood and not). I also watched Kevin (Probably) Saves The World and Ghosted. I'm not sure yet if I will keep watching those two. I usually give a show at least two episodes before I decide. I watched part 1 of the premiere of Marvel's Inhumans and though I often do not agree with the critics, I did this time. There was nothing about the show or the cast that made me want to see more of it. I am also going to check out Wisdom Of The Crowd starring Jeremy Piven, about a very wealthy man who, after his daughter is murdered, introduces crowdsourcing technology so the general public can get in on capturing criminals.

So what new show(s) are you watching and do you like what you've seen?
 

The only new show of the season that I am watching on a weekly basis is The Deuce on HBO. It is a David Simon show about life on the streets in Time Square in the 70's. I liked The Wire (Another David Simon show) so much I thought I would check it out. I'm enjoying it but it hasn't jumped out and grabbed me like other shows have. However, The Wire started out slow also so I'm staying with it. As far as the other new shows go, I'll wait awhile and binge the ones that interest me. The Good Doctor does sound interesting. Thanks for bringing that to our attention.

You're welcome Mark. And FYI, The good doctor is the highest rated new show ever surpassing The Big Bang Theory (which I never watched).I don't have HBO so I've never seen the shows you mentioned though I've heard about The Wire. Well...enjoy!
 

I watch The Good Doctor. While I do not love it, I find it interesting. Have not started watching Stranger Things 2 yet, but plan on it. I may want to rewatch some of season 1 to remind me of the storyline.
I watched one episode of Mindhunter at my husband's suggestion, but really did not like it.
I have found that this season's crop of new shows has not done a lot for me. But I still have some on Netflix to check out.

What I like about the Mindhunter is the realism, certainly not the average cop show. I'm on episode 8(?) and have yet to see a shoot-em-up scene, like most cop shows have, every 15 minutes.. Some cops go their whole career without having to pull their pistol out of the holster, other than to fire it at the range or clean it.
