Our Frozen North

Freezing weather sure does make for some interesting events, and pictures. Here is one of the American Side of Niagara Falls. The other is of a house on Lake Ontario. The house is from last winter, but I think from lake wind advisories, there will be more this year. Do you have cool frozen pictures to share?

The bubbles freeze in mid air.

And then cascade gently to the ground.

We used to release them from an office window on the fourth floor.

People used to watch them come all the way down into their hands.

Sounds like fun, camper. Only thing I have done is throw a bucket of boiling water outside. It turns to snow in mid-air. Kids think it is magic. It is great making magic for kids.

Niagara Falls is beautiful in the winter and early spring when things are covered with ice. It is a real nuisance when the mist from the falls coats the roads, cars, etc... with a thin glaze of ice for several blocks around the falls.

Nothing dramatic here, just lots of light fluffy lake effect snow and COLD!!!

Don't think it is fake, but wonder how they can call it "warming" when it is 25 below zero.
