Few Want To Admit They Watch It But They Do

Ask most people if they watch reality tv and they will say NO WAY. But someone must be watching as some of those shows are always high on the Neilson ratings.

I will admit to watching Survivor right from the first and every season after. Same for Big Brother. But that's it for me.

who else will confess their Reality Show passion?

I watch:

Dancing with the Stars
Judge Judy
(sometimes) People's Court
(sometimes) The Bachelor/ette....with a group of online chums, we make snarky comments and laugh our butts off

I'm not one to watch the more popular reality shows like Housewives, Kardashians, Bachelors or Big Brother. But I have enjoyed Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, Alone, Naked and Afraid, Pawn Stars, Antiques Roadshow, Chopped (cooking shows), etc. I usually watch Judge Judy if I'm doing something in the kitchen during that time, or Dr. Phil if he has an interesting topic.

I watch "reality tv " .

I watch lots of fascinating documentaries on history, other cultures, biographies, cooking, anthropology, true crime, some movies, etc. Haven't watched Judge Judy in a while, I think I'll pick it up again.

I also like the Pickers and Pawn Stars. The one show I do not like is Storage Wars, that guy that keeps going "yeppp" drives me nuts.

I'm happy to report that I don't watch any of that. I still don't understand why the Kardashians are famous; exactly what does that say about the state of things? I can't open Yahoo without seeing a Kardashian story plastered all over it. Who cares about this?

I watch those also even though I know they are staged. I like to see the relics and antiques.

We also watch Survivor, and America's got Talent..

I forgot America's Got Talent, I usually watch that.

90 Day Fiancee - could only take a couple episodes. Too desperate/pathetic.
I couldn't even chuckle because the woman was such a loser.

There isn't a right or wrong to which shows someone prefers to watch, as they say, "Each to his own". You never know, for example, I never watched reality shows until I needed a scapegoat, a distraction to an extremely difficult time in my life, and it actually worked at making me forget "my reality" for a few minutes. Then, I got hooked and kept watching............American Idol, The Voice, DWTS, Big Brother, Bachelor.....works for me!:)

It's a shame we don't ever see those talented acts after the show is over. I think I heard that they have to sign a contract with Simon not to appear anywhere else.

Like the Voice, NCIS shows, Criminal minds and all that type. DWTS only if Derek is dancing. Don't watch the reality shows. Do like the Chicago PD and Criminal Intent shows but that's it.

I watched 'Survivor' from the beginning but when the show began to appear twice/yr,I didn't watch as much.
The past 2 yrs I've been watching'Married at First Sight" on Lifetime. The concept, two strangers meet on their wedding day, after 8 weeks of being' married',they decide whether they want to stay together or get divorced. The track record for this show isn't good, most of the couples get divorced. I find this show interesting.
On HGTV"Lottery Dream Home" Sue

I don't get it either. People seem to think Survivor etc are real and not scripted but I read that they are scripted to a certain extent. I do watch DWTS only if Derek is dancing and sometimes the Voice but the Bachelors and others are pitiful. Do watch the crime shows and love the NCIS shows and the History channel.
