I've gotten in the habit of watching tv in bed at night . It's to the point now, I can't go to sleep without it ! I record old Alfred Hitchcock tv shows, watch them and it puts me right to sleep . If I fall asleep during a show,I'll watch it again the next night.( I wonder how many times I've watched the same show ? LOL) I also need a fan blowing year round. I just keep in on low to circulate the air . Maybe it's the hum that lulls me to sleep ,too.

Do you have a way of getting to sleep ? ;)

I haven't had a TV in my bedroom for years, never felt comfortable watching tv in bed.

I do read tho' always have, a few pages of my book and I'm asleep...

.

I don't watch TV in bed but do watch with the hubby in our TV room where I fall asleep in my recliner, mostly out of boredom, then I get my second wind, grab a book and read till all hours of the night. I would prefer to start off reading and skip the TV altogether but I have to spend a little time with the hubby even if I'm semi conscious. I doubt he notices he is so engrossed in the tube. Most nights I take 1/4 tablet of Ambien. I know I'm hooked but at 73,who cares. By the time I work my way up to a full tablet I'll be 6 feet under and sleeping around the clock.

I don't have a TV in my bedroom. I never have trouble falling asleep because I go to bed when I'm tired (regardless of what time it is). Sometimes I'll look at some things online on my phone, or watch a few videos, but soon I'm ready to go to sleep.

I get Alfred Hitchcock 5 nights a week (after Perry Mason and The Twilight Zone :D), unfortunately it's at 1am. If I'm awake I'll watch it in the bedroom, but something about the old B&W shows just puts me to sleep.

My husband always has the TV on before we go to sleep, if it's something I'm interested in, I'll watch with him. Sometimes we'll just watch a stand up comedy before bed and have a couple of laughs to end the day. When the TV goes off (we never fall asleep with it on), I sometimes have a tiny am/fm radio under my pillow and will listen to a talk show until I'm sleepy.

Sometimes I do watch TV in bed, but sometimes I don't. I'm another who cannot sleep without a fan on. We turned on the ceiling fan when we moved in this house in 1994 and it has been on ever since unless the power is out. :D (We have replaced the original fan a couple of times with newer models.)

We have a TV in the bedroom but rarely use it. I'm a reader when getting ready to go to sleep and usually can't stay awake for very long. We also use one of the fans, ceiling or on the TV cabinet. Winter and summer and always have a window open a bit, no matter how cold it is outside. 50 - 60F is a good sleeping temp. for us.

No TV in my bedroom, never felt comfortable watching that way. In my living room in my recliner I watch a fav nightly show until midnight, sometimes I doze off for couple of minutes
In the summer,I have windows open with a fan to keep me cool, don't like AC Sue

Yes, have a small tv in the bedroom, but rarely watch it. My wife may turn it on while I'm in the shower before going to bed, but not as much as she use to. However, from the time she gets home from work, especially if we aren't going anywhere, she will turn on the tv. What can I say. The lady grew up in a household with two sisters and a brother........constant noise. Not me. No sisters, no brothers and my step-parents acted like they were raised in a nice, quiet library. During the day in the summer, I had to go outside and listen to our hogs "grunt", if I wanted some noise. LOL

Bone of contention in our house. I refuse to have a TV in the bedroom. She wants one. She lost, ain't gonna happen.
I want it dark and quiet when I go to bed.
She falls asleep every nite watching the tube in the family room. She will lay there snoring like a lumberjack for two hours, but if I touch the remote and change channels she will jump to the alert, and loudly proclaim, "I WAS WATCHING THAT"

Never gonna be a TV in my bedroom.
