It's not rude to ask people basic information in an introduction post, if they haven't provided it. - gender, state/country, etc. Some people provide the information in their introduction or fill out basic profile information later.

Lost count of the times I've seen members complain because a member didn't fill out a profile. Some act like a profile is LAW :laugh: So now asking basic information is rude? Nah.
