My hubby having his surgery today

So, it is 4AM eastern time. In about an hour we will be leaving for the hospital to check in for DH's surgery. We have to be there at 5:45. I am going armed with a book, two tablets and both our phones. Going to be hanging around for about 4 hours, just waiting for surgery to be done.

I am optimistic all will go well for us.
 

Wishing the best for your husband Marie... I hope all goes as well as you both hope...I'm sure your both very nervous about what's ahead , but try not to worry too much, if they get this out then after his recovery your husband will be well again... (((hugs))) to you both
 
Best of luck to your husband. rkunsaw is correct. Early morning surgery is usually the best. The doctor hasn't become over-worked yet and is at his best, IMO.

I spent my 70th birthday in the hospital getting a knee replacement. Would you believe no one brought me a birthday cake. The good thing is that the knee works just fine.
