The oven light burned out on our 19 year old oven. Naturally it is called an "appliance lamp". I went to our local Home Improvement Store to replace it. They had a two lamp pack for $2.98. A single lamp was no where to be found!! So I can assume that we will be good for the next 38 years!!

Make sure that you let Mrs. Ken put the extra bulb in a safe place so you don't get blamed for losing it 19 years from now!!!

That is the exact thought I had when I read his post. The quality just isn't as good as it used to be. Nothing lasts as long as it once did.
Most stuff goes into the kitchen junk drawer, the lamp and package are too big so I put it in the utility room cabinet.. I would have liked it in the junk drawer with the open package of night light bulbs and old shoe laces...Make sure that you let Mrs. Ken put the extra bulb in a safe place so you don't get blamed for losing it 19 years from now!!!

Most ovens have two bulbs. Check. Maybe the other one has been burned out so long you never noticed.
