Glory Hallelujah I can hear again!!!! It's been a long six months since my surgery and activation of implant and receiver.
There was much frustration in practicing my hearing exercises but yesterdays adjustments and fine tuning did the trick.

Lon, can you hear me now???

Just kidding- happy for you!

Lon, a loved one in my life sent thru sudden hearing loss and it was due to Vicodin use/abuse. She went thru the CI surgery at House Clinic in Los Angeles. Do you know what caused your hearing loss? Just curious. I'm on another group and many oxy and vicodin takers and they are doing all in their power to defend these toxic drugs. I pointed this issue out. Many probably don't realize how addicted they are.

My loss was due to jet engine noise before protective ear cover was required.

Thanks Lon, did you work on planes? Or a pilot? Is your hearing loss profound in both ears.

Looking at your profile, my favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption...watched it so many times...loved the story and the great cast. Our religious issues are the same too.
