OK ''most of us have been to a venue /concert at some time , i have seen many live on stage 'groups /singers
SO what i'am asking is' who was the best u have seen . 2 will be enough !

mine was . little richard
paul anka =

Peter Gabriel
MaDonna ( not that I’m a huge fan but she put on a good concert)
Fleeteood Mac
Yes

Ive been to hundreds of concerts also and picking out just two is impossible

When I was in my teens I saw Sammy Davis Jr. and The Fifth Dimension and both were excellent. A few years later I switched completely over to country, western music. I tried to see all that came to my area and all were fantastic, although most were falling asleep on their feet, I guess due to over booking by their managers.

I'm not all that fond of crowds so I've never been to a concert, big sports event etc......just way too many people around to suit me.

Most of the concerts I've been to have been of the Party in the Park type with loads of different top bands playing.

I did go and see Take That's come back concert in what was then the brand new O2 Venue... but I only went to accompany my daughter, and it was waaaay too loud for me..

The most intimate and by far the most enjoyable 'concert' was seeing my favourite Celtic folk duo Aly Bain and Phill cunningham live in concert about 5 years ago ...front row seats and they even joined us for a drink at the end!!

The only concert I've been to is The Carpenters at Mobile Alabama sometime in the seventies (maybe 1972 or 1973).

The Best one I ever saw was probably back in the '80's. Pink Floyd did their "Dark Side of the Moon" album at the Chiefs stadium in Kansas City....They are my All Time favorite group. In recent years, we went to an Adele concert about 4 years ago in Las Vegas, and last year, Lorde did a show in Kansas City and we managed to get tickets....she is Great.

Best overall concert I've been to was the Eagles Farewell 1 Tour back in 2003 at what was then called the Fleet Center (New Boston Garden). This one stands out to me because the band played for a long time (3+ hours). They played most of their hits and allowed each member to have their own time to play their own hits. They put on a great show. I also saw them in concert for the History Of The Eagles Tour in 2013, but it wasn't as good as the Farewell 1 tour. The History Of The Eagles tour was the last time I saw Glenn Frey live. Frey was a great musician, gone far too soon.

#2 would be a 2 way tie with Aerosmith & Robert Plante/Jimmy Page.

Back in the 70's & 80's Styx, Elton John and Kiss put on some really great theatrical shows. Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band was another great show in the 70's & 80's.

Neil Diamond used to put on a great show as well.

The cost of going to a concert these days is so ridiculous I think my concert going days might be over. I was looking at tickets for the current Eagles tour with Vince Gill & Glenn Frey's son, but any ticket close to the stage was $400+. The only band I would think about paying that kind of money to see would be the original members of Led Zeppelin, but unfortunately that's impossible.

I AGREE JIM W. cost is riddick --- over charging celebs nothing worse ' their loss in many ways -

Laurie Anderson, at the Paramount, in Austin. It was so good, I stayed for her second concert, as well, even though I only ushered for the first.
The Stones, in Austin, on the shore of Lady Bird Lake.
Dave Hollowell, flamenco guitarist extraordinaire, at the PAC, UT, Austin.

I've had the great fortune to have gone to so many wonderful concerts.

Saw Bruce Springsteen, Queen, Tom Petty, The Moody Blues, and Jackson Browne a number of times. They were spectacular each time. U2 is amazing in concert.

In other genres, Harry Belafonte put on a helluva show as did Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and the Trans Siberian Orchestra. I went to dozens of concerts over the years including many extremely popular performers, but my all time favorite has to be the late Harry Chapin. I was lucky enough to see him perform many times. A very good musician, a storyteller extraordinaire, and a truly great human being.

always wanted to see AC/DC but it looks like they have parted now … best ever rock group !

Pink Floyd was awesome. Great light show too
The Eagles too
Chicago , so many

I would have loved to have seen Led Zepplin also. Robert plant singing and the band.

One of the most interesting concerts I saw was Robbie Robertson BUT it was at a REALLY fancy theatre. Everyone was all dressed up in shirt / tie and long dresses. I’d gone to this event with a long time friend of mine that I’ve known since mid teens but this was clearly out of our league that night. We both had jeans on and felt so out of place. You’d think we were at a classical theatre or something.

All other concerts have been VERY casual
it was strange but memorable

Wife and I saw Chicago at a small 1200 seat venue about 4 years ago, they were awesome! They're all in their late 60's early 70's and put on a great show.
