Hello my name is Cherie and I'm from Southwest Ohio and originally my home state is Michigan.I'm also of mixed culture,meaning that I'm Native American and white.I love traveling especially to Tennessee to visit the Mountains to which I've been to several times.

I grew up in a comfortable middle class family.My late father was a construction worker and my late mother was a mother and housewife.My older siblings and and I were raised with a emphasis on what was most important in life.Such as family, friends and Nature was our playground.

Hi Bearwoman-
Does your handle have anything to do with your tribal name?
Reason I ask is my lady is part Cherokee, and, after 50 yrs together, still won't reveal to me her tribal name.
I still call her several names to get a rise outa her, or goad her into telling me, but, nada.

With the exception of Two Dogs....she smiled, then clubbed my shoulder with a largish skillet.
