Missouri transplant living in Florida

Hello. Married with a grown son, 2 grandkids and several step children. All grown and living a long ways away. We live in the country and I don't get out much. Just looking for a place to socialize online.
 

Funny, we have been living in northeastern Florida for almost 10 years now and are looking extremely forward to going back to Colorado to live again. Had enough of the humidity and definitely don't like hurricanes...…..like Mathew and Irma. We don't necessarily like "Old Man Winter", but he comes with living in Colorado.
 
I've met several people who are moving back north. My husband is from here and I absolutely love the place.

I'll be "back north" is anywhere Colorado or states surrounding it. Most people don't even know where Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, the Dakota's, Nebraska or Kansas even is. I've asked them. There are those that love Florida, then there are those that don't any more...…..like us.

Heck, this morning it was warmer in the city we are looking to move to in northern Colorado than it was here in Jacksonville. No wonder winter coats are sold here!

I was so cold this morning!!! I hate our week of "winter". LOL
