Domestic Violence Is Not Acceptable...

That's disgusting, may the victims rest in peace. I wish these killers would just commit suicide if they're that miserable, and leave others to live their lives. :(

It is also the situation that cops dread the most. When I was a teenager my friends father who was a cop got stabbed at a domestic violence scene.

I disagree that God makes mistakes. He gave us free will. Good for most of us.

I agree.

Another thing that I often think about is that we only see the end result in these cases and we never get an understanding of the events leading up to a violent domestic outburst that ends in tragedy.

I wish we knew how to determine what makes one person just storm out the door and another person stay to commit such horrific violence.

What actually happens in that split second of rage.

Very sad.

I want to reply about the husband, his wife and her mother that my wife and I knew, but the entire story of the domestic violence and murder of both the wife and her mother, by the husband, is just too long. However, here is part of it:

The husband had threatened an ex-girlfriend before, but the wife didn't know anything about this. At the time of the threat, the wife and husband hadn't met yet, but local Sheriff's office did confiscated the rifles of the husband. BUT, some time later, he was able to get them back.........with his wife's signature to release them. I don't know if she asked why the rifles were confiscated by law enforcement, but she is the one that signed for him to get them back.

Anyway, the good part of this story is, he didn't harm either of their daughters. His oldest daughter, around 10, did testify against her dad in court and called him a monster. Last time we knew, he was sitting on Death Row and both daughters were being raised by the deceased wife's brother.

We did watch the funeral of the mother and daughter on our computer. It was a "closed-casket" funeral due to massive tissue loss on both victims (from the shotgun blast).

And, one other thing, the daughter had a current Restraining Order out on him. Due to his drinking, the daughter had kicked him out. Unfortunately, he had returned a few time and flattened a tire on her truck and sliced up the kids blow-up pool. He was arrested, but was released. It was after this, that one night he showed up at the house, after drinking for numerous hours, found a shotgun and ammo, that was still in the garage, and entered the house thru the back door. Both of the young daughters came out of their room and he told them to be quiet and go back into their room. Which they did. I don't know who encountered the husband first, the mother or daughter/wife, but he shot one of them and then the other came out of a bedroom and was shot. Both killed immediately. The oldest daughter was the one that called the Sheriff and said "My dad just killed my mom and grandma".
