You might have dozens of apps, or all your phone contacts. It would be a headache to lose any notes you have in various apps, too.

But odds are, your photos are most important things on your phone. That’s why it’s important to back them up

I rarely use my phone, only have a few contacts so they could easily be replaced, no photos but about fifty old and very special texts that I would hate to lose

Well probably the only thing I'd miss is my photos... I have about 2000 stored on there but they're also on my computer so in reality I wouldn't miss much apart from the fact the phone is the latest Apple phone, and cost almost £1k just last month!!

My PIM. I use it constantly.

Rarely use the phone, perhaps once a month.

On'y 39 numbers in the whole world, including all cells, can ring my landline and only one person, my son, can ring my cell!

I'm not a bog phone person!

About $1,000 Canadian and all my photos and bookmarks of important info I’ve collected plus my notes
I make a lot of notes so use it as a filing system
Talking to people is the last thing I do with my phone oddly enough

I've got the same Pantech cell phone that I started with about eleven or twelve years ago, I've got nothing stored in it and I seldom carry it so I wouldn't miss a darn thing if I lost it......I did switch it over to Consumer Cellular (from AT&T) about a year ago which cut my monthly rate in half.

Pantech Breeze 3.

Most days it would be the infamous message from my wife, "I forgot to add a gallon of milk to the list" or "Stop by Nancy's (one of our daughter's) on your way home - -she's got a package for me". Saves a lot of extra trips.

I have next to nothing stored on my old flip phone and rarely use it except for the above reasons, but for those reasons --it's priceless!! :)

My phone's information is automatically synched to the Cloud, and also to my laptop and iPad, so I wouldn't really lose any data, it'd just be a drag and an expense to have to get a new phone and restore all the info to it.

Also, can Laurie, or anyone, tell me what this is?

The most important thing I'd miss is the phone itself, I keep no important files on my phone and use it mostly just for short calls. Any photos taken on my phone are copied to my computer and deleted from the phone.

Basically, nothing. We just keep a basic TracFone active....$7/month....and carry it when away from the house, in case we have a problem with the car, or the kids need to call us, etc., etc. We might only use it 5 or 10 minutes a month, and there are over 3000 minutes built up on it, after having it for several years. If it breaks, or gets lost, we will probably just go to Walmart, and buy another cheap/basic phone.

I got my first cell/smartphone last July. I am still struggling with getting it to do what I want. I am much more comfortable using my desktop which has a 27" screen. Since I am long retired, work is a distant memory.

I would lose my peace of mind, as I hurried to close credit card accounts, bank accounts, email accounts, etc. I do most of my business transactions on my phone. I really think of it as my portable computer that also allows me to make and receive phone calls. I seem to be in the minority, here. As I intend to stay in my professional field, in some form or another, up until my last few days on this planet, I cannot foresee a time when my portable computer will not be an integral part of my life.

Nothing, just like Don and we would do exactly what he has posted.
