I'm gonna tread lightly in this thread, I don't want to get anything chopped off or stabbed. :laugh:
Holly, really no Ram Jam for you? I've always liked Black Betty, kinda pumps me up. The Boston Bruins adopted Black Betty as their unofficial theme song back in the 70's & 80's when they were referred to as "The Big Bad Bruins" and that song has always stuck with me.

Here's one that must've been considered good at some point and time, by someone, but not me.
I loved Black Betty too, Jim. I never heard that Rick James song; I think the video is worse than the song, altho' I don't much care for the song.
Superfreak is an awful song RR and Rick James was seriously lacking in the talent category. I think of it more as comedy than music and the video is complete cheese lol. But it was big in the 80's along with MC Hammer.

I kinda like both...Black Betty is a good song to exercise to....Super Freak isnt that bad in my opinion.

Haha. There's no accounting for taste!! I always loved Black Betty, but it made me drive too fast if it came on the radio. That video always makes me "lol", though.

Did you know BonyM were the longest running Mime band...it was discovered they were miming a few years after their launch, but it didn't seem to stop their phenomenal sales. I'm happy to say I've never bought any one of their hits..
