How did you get those glass bottles of ketchup/brown sauce flowing? Not so many around these days.

I seldom have anything nice to say about packaging engineers, but the guy who invented the upside down plastic squeeze bottle for ketchup, mayonnaise, etc. deserves a medal.

:goodjob:

Yes, it was a guy and he got more than a medal:

The Upside-down Bottle by Paul Brown:
Paul Brown invented the upside-down bottle in 1991 and sold his invention to NASA, Heinz, and several shampoo manufacturers. He later sold his company and the rights to the design in 1995 and received $14 million.

I always stuck a big straw in it, closed the end with my thumb, pulled it out, squeezed the straw

but that upside down squeeze bottle, nice

$14,000,000?

I need to send suma my easier livin' off grid sh*t to NASA

I don’t use it, my friends used to put a little vinegar in and shake the bottle to loosen it up, not need now with the squeezes

Well, any bottle can be turned upside down. I do like plastic bottles instead of glass. My husband drops a lot of stuff and I no longer have to clean up the mess.

centrifugal force...

Raise it stright up over yur head and sling the crap out of it.
