    It Must Be Said

From the time I was old enough to speak in a moderately coherent fashion, if I had something to say, I said it. If it got me into trouble, I didn't mind. I said my piece and if what I had to say offended anyone, I would apologize for it. But I still said my piece. Now I have something to say so...

2025 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Right now, it's 71° outside, and getting warmer by the day. In another month I'll have to turn the AC on, as it will be 90° to 100° by then. This coming Thursday it's supposed to be 84°, but then 66° on Saturday as it's supposed to rain.

What to think about dogs constant "grunting"...

Maybe he's lonely? Have you taken him to a park and let him run with other dogs?

What concerts have you gone to ?

When The Later Years Box Set was released I found a copy of the Blue Ray of Delicate Sound of Thunder on YouTube, and it had all the missing tracks from their tour set list. I must have watched that at least 100 times. (y)

My expenses for 2024 as near as I can figure

I only did that once. We got this trailer as a temp place to live in a wide spot on the road called Mckenzie Bridge while looking for an Apartment in Eugene, Oregon. We called a guy to come fill the tank, and when he did the bill was $100 or something back in 1986. When he was finished, and...

What concerts have you gone to ?

Did you know there are several Pink Floyd (with and without Roger Waters) and David Gilmour complete shows on YouTube? Pink Floyd Divided We Fall - The Wall Live At Earl's Court, London, England, August 9th, 1980 Live At Live 8 - The Last Pink Floyd Show, London, England, July 2nd, 2005 The...

Do you think electronics are getting way too complicated to use?

And sometimes, the absolute most useful information is not in the manual at all. I bought a Fuji camera at Costco years ago and no matter what I did, I got blurry photos. I read through the PDF Manual several times and nothing helped. You know what I needed? A Tripod. If I set that camera up...

Do you think electronics are getting way too complicated to use?

I have found that now days most people learn by one of three methods, reading instructions, verbal instructions or video instructions. But however people learn, the instructions need to make sense to begin with, and be up to date for the current version of whatever the instructions are for. And...

    What's for dinner ( or lunch )

Country Fried Steak, Hash Browns, Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, using the age old Frozen Food method. Or if I get lazy, we can get the same thing (but slightly higher quality, yet still Frozen Food) at Denny's. We get 5 Tyson's Country Fried Steaks ($9, $1.80 per steak), a large 4 lb. bag of Hash...

Do you think electronics are getting way too complicated to use?

I think it depends on how the manuals are written. I used to do that at a company I worked for in Hayward back in 1990. My boss to told to write in step by step fashion, assuming the user knows nothing about computers, and then write it again in summary fashion for those who are more PC oriented...

    Inspiring Military Movies etc

Glory? That's a great film. Not to mention, I've never seen a Morgan Freeman film I didn't like. Oops, I forgot the films I was going to mention. The first one is called The Train, and the other one is called The Bridge at Remagan. Both Free at Tubi.
