I need to leave the house occasionally and it is only 2 miles away.

My late son's birthday today as well. Balloon flowers that I planted on his birthday are blooming now. Sweet memories.

Was happy to learn that my pharmacy has filled the prescription for a med I ran out of. Trouble is they are closed for lunch until 2PM. When did that start? Even the local CVS closed for lunch before they went out of business.

I am guilty of hanging on to too much stuff. My parents experienced the great depression and rarely threw anything away.

For me it was about a half dozen hospitalizations in the past 18 months and the thousands of dollars they expect in return. Don't get me wrong. I am thankful to still be here but the question was about feeling successful. Creativity has always been my thing and it has become elusive.

I felt more successful 5 years ago than I do now. Aging can hurt your dignity and your pocketbook.

It was another rainy day. I picked up a neighbor from an appointment at around 1:15. It was raining so hard that visibility was difficult. I got home safe and we got some sun in the early evening. Our first sunny day in a while is predicted for tomorrow.

We have a pile of stuff out for a bulk pickup. There were several TVs and microwaves and all have disappeared. I wondered if it was the metal or the potential for repair.

I get my prescriptions at Walmart and there are enough of them that I visit often. Yesterday I picked up a dozen large eggs for $2.96. a pleasant surprise!

I am in Georgia but I talk to my friend in the Baltimore area every day. Your miserable rainy days seem to follow ours by a few days. We are in the midst of another period of nasty weather. I hope it misses you this time around.
