What is your peanut butter preference?

I buy peanut butter that is made by a machine in the store that crushes the peanuts into creamy peanut butter when the button is pushed. The freshly made, no-ingredients-added peanut butter goes into a reusable plastic container.

Peanut butter is a must-have in the home. So many things go with peanut butter. A favorite is a toasted peanut butter and smashed banana sandwich. Or a peanut sandwich with a slice of pickle is yummy.

Dipping apple slices into peanut butter is a great snack.

I put a blob of peanut butter in my oatmeal and add sliced banana. I call it Elvis oatmeal.

These noodles are very good and very easy to make.

1/2 cup peanut butter
3T soy sauce
1T sesame oil
1T rice wine vinegar
1 T chili garlic sauce/sriracha
1 T sweetener (I use a squirt of sugar free maple flavored pancake syrup but you can use honey, brown sugar, etc…)
1/4 cup hot pasta water

8 oz of soba, udon or Angel hair pasta cooked according to package directions.

Whisk together sauce ingredients and toss with hot noodles until the pasta is coated and the sauce is absorbed.

Serve hot or cold.

There are many easy variations of this recipe with grated fresh ginger, minced garlic, thinly sliced green onions, etc…

I love creamy peanut butter. When I was younger I liked crunchy once in a while and for recipes.
Used to buy peanut butter from a machine at Raisin Rack. It was not creamy enough for my taste.

I rarely eat peanut butter now, it causes me digestive problems.

3. I dont like peanut butter (often called peanut paste here)

I never eat it myself but I keep some for kids who like it on toast and I use it in a recipe called chocolate spiders

Creamy Jif. About once a month they have a special buy five for a lower price. I always buy five, we go through one or two jars a week.

Like @MACKTEXAS I have it almost everyday for a snack on crackers like I'm doing right now, or for lunch in a sandwich;
two slices whole wheat bread, peanut butter on one slice , thin coating of Mayo on the other slice, salted lettuce in the middle.

I like both creamy and crunchy, but usually don't want the calories. I have the PB2 powdered peanut butter stuff in my pantry that can make a rather sad version of peanut butter (but its great to sprinkle on my diet ice cream to add a little protein).

I use organic creamy almond butter. I have been trying to find plain unroasted, but it doesn't exist. So I have to selttle with roasted almond butter.
Do you live anywhere near where there is a Natural Grocers store or similar? They have raw-almond butter ground on site, the creamy was a bit gritty, but overall smooth.

I like Jiff creamy. In my younger days, my favorite was crunchy. Nowadays I prefer the creamy, so I don't have to be picking peanut particles out between my teeth.

Creamy. We usually get Skippy's because that's what Costco has sales on. After my COVID bout in February, I've been eating more peanut butter than ever before. When I was sick, all I wanted was chicken noodle soup (boxed kind that I added water to) and tablespoons of PNB. Now almost everyday, I have a tablespoon of PNB. Sometimes I have a PBnJ sandwich too.

Since dentures.. sadly Creamy. I use it to hide my dogs pills when she needs one since she has
the nose of a Beagle and will smell them, plus the PB she does not have to chew and feel the pill in
the food around it, just lick and swallow. Sure has saved me a lot of frustration and searching
for pills she ran off and spit out.
