I still have my Marantz receiver and a pair of Infinity speakers I bought in '79. Had I known I'd still have those speakers all these years later-- I'd have spent more at the time and gotten the ones with the Watkins woofers.

Often specialists have hospital rounds, or procedures in the morning hours and simply aren't available to see patients in their office early in the day.

Happened to us on this day in 2000. The replacement was a 6 year warranty and it lasted 6 years and month. That one was replaced by a 9 year model, but we moved before that one expired.

We can fit 3 ears of corn on a plate in our microwave, cook for 3 minutes per ear on high. I get the job of husking it, which I do right away under running water because it's too hot otherwise. Very easy to clean and remove the silk once it's cooked. Never had any problems with exploding...

When I was in grade school that was one of the PE units for 2 or 3 years. Haven't done it since.

If you have PBS passport you can watch Astrid there. I haven't watched much of Patience, just enough to see their treatment, but will watch it later on when I can watch with my wife. Not gonna say anymore about either show, I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

Has anyone watched the French show Astrid, on which Patience is based?

I haven't seen it since it was in production, but at the time it was one of my favorites.

I'm not so sure that muting is the opposite of what the advertiser wants. How many people keep looking up to see when they can hit the unmute? Someone is paying some attention to the ad, at least part of the time.

Don't forget they can write it off as a business expense.
