Chick-fil-A Announce a Move Back to Chicken with Anti-Biotics

I saw a program about "free range". To legally use that term, the coops had to have a door to the outside. There's no regulation as to the size of the "range". Strangely, there were all these chickens crammed into this coop, and the door was open, but they stayed inside?????

Be Prepared. The Grid is going down. Interesting interview with Dennis Quaid

I think the idea of protecting a vital component of life in the 21st century is necessary. The recent bridge collapse in Baltimore is a perfect example. If everything goes right, ships won't crash into the piers of a bridge, knocking it down. Nope, no need to build diversions in front of bridge...

Be Prepared. The Grid is going down. Interesting interview with Dennis Quaid

Wait a minute, before we chow down on a Beezer. Are you a free range Beezer? Is the Beezer on antibiotics? How many carbs in a Beezer? Is there a no caffeine Beezer? How about a zero calorie Beezer? Is there a gluten free Beezer? Is there a TV chef competition where the ingredient is Beezer...

Do you save bows and bags for Christmas wrapping?

I'm a guy. So, I shop for presents, and buy Xmas bags at the dollar store @ 9:45 PM, Christmas Eve. Who doesn't need a battery powered egg scrambler? Presents go in the bag, and pull the drawstring. And my Xmas shopping is over. I admit I've never saved a bow or ironed tissue paper. I haven't...

    Look At Me Now Lady!

I was born and raised in Massachusetts, so I had a Mass. accent-DUH? So, I pronounced 'figure' as "figah". I had one nun, who kept trying to get me to say "figure", but it always came out "figah". To me, they sounded the same. Today, I still figah.

    Gas just went up

Supposedly, the gas price increases in the warmer weather, because of the demand caused by increased vacation driving. And in winter, the gas prices rise due to the demand for heating oil. I think on August 31st, for about ten minutes gas prices go down.

Dying like everyone else but why are we here and what were to do during our time here?

I think we're supposed to hand off life to the next generation, just like our parents did. We all get a short time in the sun. During that time, stuff happens, and we have to be focused on being alive.

OMG...almost neglected to renew my car registration

I'm in Pennsylvania. And when I was in the hospital both the registration and insurance ran out. You think it would be easy- fill out a from and send a check NOOoooo!!!! I couldn't register the car because it wasn't insured, and I couldn't insure the car because it wasn't registered. The paper...

Oh, God! Why are you reading this?

Good news/bad news. Good news. Got up , ate breakfast of two eggs. And when I finished, the egg carton was empty. All is right with the world. Bad news. I just can't stand the Lume lady with her "pits and boobs" deoderant. I have to change the channel when she comes on. If you're worried you...

The Princess of Wales has cancer

If you are going to be the future Queen of Great Britan, you are going to be in the public eye. And the British tabloid press is not known for being subtle or unobtrusive. On a personal level, Kate's medical records should have been sacrosanct, but as Princess, a diagnosis of cancer was not...

Baltimore's Key Bridge Collapses After Being Struck

This bridge is a "critical failure structure" bridge, meaning if you take out one pillar, there is no redundancy, the bridge will fail. Knowing that, and having huge ships sailing near the pillars, and NOT having any deflecting piers to protect the pillars, is just waiting for this to happen...

Money for nothin', get your kicks for free.

Right now, I don't know what percentage of people are involved in the sciences, it's not huge. But when robots and AI are functioning, I don't think most will be chair bound, watching 100 year old reruns of "Gilligan's Island". I think we will get paid for increasing the human knowledge bank...
