    Advice on selling grave plots

I did a quick internet search on this question "What percentage of Americans choose to be cremated "? Over 60 percent was the answer based on 2025 stats. By 2030, that percentage is expected to be over 80 percent. JIMB>

My local service station received fuel delivery this morning.

Which is why cars have an inline fuel FILTER that should be replaced every 2 years.

    A Nice Walk ( with photos )

The running joke here in Canada is that they are our "Cobra Chicken Attack Squadron". They are dangerous in the spring time, when their eggs hatch and the little geese are still in the nests. Some cities here in Canada employ Border Collie dogs with handlers, to herd the adults away from public...

My computer chair has a Obus Forme cushion that I bought from their Canadian website online. 7 years of daily use, still holds it's shape and looks like new. They are also sold in the US through Amazon. JIMB>

I will point out to our American members that the Canadian Coast Guard is not a military force. Their ships do not have any weapons. Their mandate is rescue, repair and mainteneance of navigation aids, ice breaking, and enforcement of fishing regulations in our waters. JIMB>

    Seniors and suicide Prevention

Based on ten years of personal experience as a Toronto Ambulance officer. I say this.........Suicide is the most selfish act a person can do. They are dead, BUT the people who are alive, who knew the dead person, are forced to suffer the results of that selfish act. JIMB>

National and global communications monitoring websites

You are most welcome. A long time ago in the 1980's I was licensed here in Ontario as a Private Investigator. I bought a Bear Cat radio scanner, for use in some of my investigation cases. At that time, all of the emergency radio channels were "wide open" meaning it was possible to monitor...

National and global communications monitoring websites

Here in Canada it is illegal to listen to Police, Fire, or Paramedic radio broadcasts, for the purpose of making money from the information derived from listening in. Most of those types of frequencies in Canada are now encrypted so that private individuals cannot hear them. Authorized media...

National and global communications monitoring websites

The first example is a USA wide two way radio monitoring website. It allows people to listen to a wide range of commercial, law enforcement, railroad, and industrial radio channels. To use it, you enter in the location that you want to listen to (For example Chicago ) on the map, select what...

    Introvert or senior behavior

In the 1980's ,I was a long distance courier owner/operator here in Toronto, contracted to a expedite freight company. I drove my own Ford E350 cargo van, doing "direct door to door deliveries "and most of my destinations were in the USA. All of the shipments were either high value materials, or...

    Street Scammer Watch site

That was "The Shakey Lady " who was exposed by the Toronto Sun newspaper. She was followed by a private investigator, hired by the newspaper. At the end of the day, she went home to a house in an upper class part of Toronto. Investigations showed that she owned that house and 2 more in a suburb...

Sugar maple harvest time in Ontario/Quebec.

Its that time of year, again. The sugar maple harvest has begun. When the over night temp is around minus 5 Celsius, and the day time temp is around plus 5 C, the sap begins to run in the trunks of the sugar maple trees in Eastern Canada. A long time ago, the collection of sap was done by...
