  • Well, you know a good deal more about the Lithuanian connection than I do. My grandfather's name was John, he had two sons Joseph and Richard and my mother Josephine. he lived most of his life in Massachusetts and his last years in Providence RI. Although I can recall him receiving a newspaper in Lithuanian he certainly didn't instill in my mother any great attachment to her Lithuanian heritage. She never learned to speak Lithuanian and I can't recall hearing any foreign language spoken in their home. Do you have any idea whether Bagdonas and Bagdonavicius was a fairly common Lithuanian name? I have a photo of my grandfather as a young father, but I can't seem to attach it to this message. If you send me an email address I send it to you that way.
