I had a TV to watch when I had a stationary bike.

We lived in Aridzona for a time. It was extremely dry, 7% humidity was very common. In the summer it was 100+every day. It was a good base for RV travel, many national parks, and we could go up to Canada and down into Mexico.

I have enjoyed many trips to Canada, but they have too much winter for me to live there.

I lost my wife of 63 years a couple of years ago. I am too decrepit for another mate at age 91. My daughter lives not too far away and checks on me at least once a week.

My wife was den mother to some Cub Scouts. They watched a moon landing on TV. Someone complained because the TV was black & white.

We were on a sunset boat ride in Cabo San Lucas. It was overcast, so no sunset. A couple of whales came along and put on a show for us. On a different occasion we were enjoying libations in a beach side location and we were treated to a sunset with a bright green flash.

My sister lived in a rent controlled apartment in NYC. The landlord got fed up with the politicians dictating to him and announced to the tenants "This building is becoming a condo, Buy your apartment or get out." The timing worked well for my sister. She retired and moved to Florida.

My parents bought a brand new fridge in 1940. It would make ice cubes in a tray, but ice cream would melt. We didn't have frozen food back then. There were 6 houses on our block, 3 had phones and 3 had cars. We were the only house that had both. I was 19 when we got our first B&W TV in 1953...

It was easier when they were in the closet.

In Sun City West there were a few apartments that could be rented short term.

Mrs Manatee passed away 2 years ago and her ashes are in the Gulf as planned. I do miss her a lot.
