Well, that's the way it was 20 years ago. My father borrowed about $35, 000 and 6-7 years later, when he died, he owed $170,000. Interest WAS based on the value of the house.

I would stick with Toyota. I traded my 17 year old 4Runner in for a new Corolla in 2017. Didn't have a problem with old one, but thought I should get a new one for my last car. Never had ANY problems.
