Huon Pine's high oil content makes it ideal for boat building.

Like Gary O, I like the clean air and natural aromas of the plants and trees in our forest. Also, the smell....or lack thereof...after a nice rain.

My favorite "pollutant" odor is the smell of burning leaves in the Fall. Every Fall, I pick a nice calm day, make a pile of oak, walnut and hickory leaves, and have a small bonfire....that smoke is really nice.

Here in The New Forest we are only ten miles from the sea, we get both that tangy smell of woodland and the briny aroma when the wind changes direction.

Sea fennel and passion flower soap. I used to buy this all the time. It made me smell like a summer garden. Then the company discontinued it so now I smell ordinary. I wear rose scented eau de toilette, but I would like to try @hollydolly's night blooming jasmine. Sounds perfect.

Korean spice bush or known as viburnum. Two weeks out of the spring they bloom and smells like "heaven".
