    Hi, Nipper and welcome to Seniors. I am intrigued by your username, Nipper. I haven't heard that nickname for decades. My cousins in Melbourne (Victoria, Australia) used that word for a child, as in 'little nipper'. What does it signify to you?

    Hi Warrigal- Thanks for asking. It was a nickname given to me by my Grandpa when I was little.(He raised me) I never really understood why I was nicknamed this! It's been with me throughout my lifetime from family, friends, schoolmates, teachers, college professors, and employers. I often joke when my obituary comes out they need to print my nickname, otherwise no one will know I've passed. LOL!
