Do you have Unconditional Love for Family & Friends

I could never forgive anyone who has committed acts of indecency and cruelty to little children. Poor little innocent children who trust adults. You hear horrible stories of the "religious" brothers who used these young people for their own evil.

    Flooring popular during the 1970s

I can remember back to the 1950's when we moved into our small new house. 2 bedrooms lounge x dining, tiny kitchen and laundry and a small one tub bathroom and toilet out the back yard. Mother and Father had the front bedroom which had lino flooring and the other bedroom housed 3 sisters. Front...

    Just senior humor

Went to a mixed religious convention today. The Christian priest held my hand and said "By the Will of Jesus you will walk today" I smiled and said "I'm not paralyzed". The Rabbi took my hand and said, "By the Will of God you will walk today" I replied "I'm fine really". Then the Buddhist Monk...

There's something I don't yet know. What could it possibly be??

My husband used to say "Hello" to somebody and I'd say "Who was that"? and he said "I don't know", years later he had to be fitted with glasses. Hollydolly: My son always buys black socks from the same shop for the past 10 years, he never runs out of them and doesn't need to try and match...

There's something I don't yet know. What could it possibly be??

Life is strange. Whilst walking down the road, should I take the right turn or the left turn, where would it lead me.? I took the right turn being a naive young lady. I met this gorgeous man who was 14 years my senior and trusted him completely. Everybody said it wouldn't last but it lasted 43...

GB: No Freedom of Speech Anymore

People are too "Precious" going by today's standards. Gone are the days when you could have a joke with someone about their funny customs.

I think I'll keep my older vehicle's for a while longer.

I bought a 2nd hand Mazda 323 Protege which is now 23 years old. I have it serviced regularly and only had minor repairs. The automatic transmission is a little sluggish, but the mechanic said, seeing I don't drive it more than 30ks per week, it should last a few more years.

Spam texts are getting more sophisticated

As I was writing here another SPAM message came to me saying, "JoyClub, an amount of $4000 has been deposited into your. They never finish a sentence and end with Enjoy gaming or with a site address. (I love deleting) but this goes on until the early hours of the morning) but with different names.

Spam texts are getting more sophisticated

I have been getting SPAM messages on my phone, at least 5 per day saying I have won $400.00 up to $4,000.00 last night, and I just have to click on an IP address, but I click on DELETE every time. They won't beat me; they'll get more tired sending before I do.

Australia's Social Media Ban for Young People

I was watching one of our Current Affairs programmes the other day about under 16 year olds not able to use social media One young girl was quite indignant about it and said there was a way to get around it and her mother was standing nearby supporting her.

The Best Thing To Happen To Me Today...

It must have been my lucky day yesterday because I took my eldest son, who is visiting me from Melbourne, out for a breakfast. When we were finished, I wanted to pay so I went up to the cashier with the bill, and she said a lady before me had already paid for my bill which came to $28.00. I was...

When you were a youngster, when did your family put up the Christmas tree?

I can remember back in the day our father decided to buy us a real Christmas tree. He never owned a car so had to catch the bus into town where large Christmas trees were being sold. He picked one and had to have it tied up with string and then get on the bus home. When it arrived, there was...
