If they can do it without doing surgery I might prefer that but not without pain killers. For some reason they won't let them prescribe a few pain pills after the shots anymore. It's only for post surgery now.

That needle procedure without the full-on anesthesia, sounds very preferable to me......
though, yes, they have gone overboard now in the opposite direction than they once did, with the present extreme limits on pain pills. duh...... nothing sensible for in between policies, and tailoring them for each situation. ugh!
 
it would taste better buried in the yard for sure LOL!

the needle would be less invasive and cheaper with less time out of work. i don't know if i could get my primary to give me some pain meds ahead of time or have the ortho doc message him with a recommendation for them for the upcoming procedure. i'd hafta discuss with him.

so i got call of duty black ops 7 and i am redownloading fortnite and just going ahead and going back to my shooters to play in between cozy games. i don't care if i suck. if i keep playing maybe i'll get better eventually. despite the frames per second time difference. this is just something to do to keep me busy until i no longer can play video games. or until i lose interest.

thinking of making beef fried rice for supper with my eggrolls.

Just a note to let you know, I had a nose and throat swab plus a chest X-ray, and they have discovered I have the RSV Virus.
Can be quite dangerous in over 80-year-olds I'm on antibiotics, Apo-Amoxycillin, a puffer to help me breathe. plus Prednisone, feel like crap with constant coughing and nose discharge plus headaches. I have already gone through 3 boxes of tissues and
just opened a new box. The doctor said it was like having Covid. Lucky, I did some extra grocery shopping as I was running low
on provisions. See the doctor again on Monday.

I'm sorry about my outburst. I am in so much agony I just wanna cry. And it made me so mad that the stupid pads weren't sticking. I need relief but it's obvious the tens unit isn't gonna work. If the pads are supposed to be self adhesive, one shouldn't have to get other things or do other things to get them to stay on. I am frustrated that my boss' only response to my agony was to remind me that if I don't have enough hours to take off for the surgery they will replace me. Meanwhile I hafta suffer and I can barely use my hands to do anything.

They ache 24/7. But do they care? Nope! I literally was in tears earlier from the pain. As soon as I get 8 weeks built up I'm gonna schedule a consult with the surgeon. I wanna see how long he thinks I need to be off. If he can say with certainty that I can return in 8 weeks I will likely go ahead and get it scheduled then. I will have to wait til 2027 to get the other hand done I think. IDK. Depends on how well the shots work.

I've had next to no sleep because of the pain I'm in. I'm starting to get depressed because of it. I think Tuesday I'm gonna see about getting another form and try to see about getting some ETO donated. I likely won't get anything but I'm still gonna try. Nothing I am using or taking for the pain is helping. Literally nothing.​

So sorry for your pain and troubles. I sometimes use generous strips of masking tape on bandages that wont stick.

I've had RSV before. The Covid was worse. But the pneumonia was worth than both of those.
 
well i hopped onto call of duty to play with a streamer and his brother. had fun. if there were rewards for dying in game i'd be a top contender LOL! i don't feel like cooking so idk what's for dinner.
