New Member Posting from Too Hot Texas

I hope you will enjoy your time with us Liz. Welcome.
Love that so many are international...really looking forward to spending time here. I've traveled a lot and find that it keeps my mind open! I don't go anymore because I find it to not be worth the hassle, but I'm grateful I did it "back in the day."

Hi and Welcome, @Liz@120118!!
So glad that you found us here and decided to give us a try!

There are several others here that hail from Texas... still it's a nice place anyway
and all are welcome. 😅

Hope to see you in the Forums!!
Thanks Ted...yes, I saw that there are a few people from TX. I have a little "ranchette sanctuary" in the Hill Country and love it even if it's hot here (we had 57 degrees over 100 one year not long ago)....temps seem saner now but feels like we're stuck in an oppressive humidity bubble at the moment (ugh)......All my years here in my 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and most of my 60s I remember being able to count the days over 100 on one hand....kind of scary. The upside is that humidity is kind to the skin (I tried moving to Colorado for a year and the lack of it was really rough on my body)...so there's that. Anyway, I ramble.....thanks for the welcome.

No..lol..I didn't mean that..I meant you were posting when I went to bed, and you're still posing now and it's almost 1pm here now....

Nothing wrong in it if you have been up all night, I just wondered... it's about 6am there isn't it ?
It's 7 a.m. here...I've just been trying to respond to all the welcome posts...so I did it right up to when I went to bed and right when I got up with my coffee...had a good 8 hours, thanks.:)
