@Babs2u, when I read about your nosebleed it reminded me of my grandmother’s first nosebleed ever. I was just a kid. They came with an ambulance and she was hospitalized for a few days. I have no idea if she was on blood thinners 60 years ago. Scary situation. Good luck recuperating.

Morning folks....have shakes bad today, so not much from me
i think...today is caregiver lady day, she'll come hre about 11am
for approx 2 hrs of cleanup-straighten up...got some odd
pain down in left foot, making me baby that side this morning..we have chance of severe weather late today...
after treating myself for b'day, I now have to go back to
microwave to feed myself LOL!!!! catch up more later...love you...:coffee:;)

Morning all, on my early walk at 6:50 temp was 72,a bit humid as I walked around the building twice a before breakfast
At 9am have an appt with the fitness instructor, Susie downstairs in the fitness center, where she will show me the various pieces of equipment I can use, needed to get a medical clearance from my dr Every Fri morning at 10-11am,she leads an exercise program starts with a warm up standing & sitting combination exercises, using 2-3 lb weights,a cool down with stretching. Last yr when I moved in, I wasn't interested in joining, thinking my daily walks would be enough for me, but after talking with other residents who enjoy the class, I decided to join, will see how it goes
The rest of my day afternoon walk if its not too hot/ humid, read NYT,my book

Thank you. They say be very careful about falling if on blood thinners. I had not heard bloody nose mentioned. It is scary. I'm thankful for the nasal spray which is over the counter. It actually works.

Good morning, nice and sunny this morning but rain might start at 12:00. Somehow I always seem to go out ahead of forecast but that is when it decides to rain. Yesterday, it rained and I had my umbrella in the car so had to use it and when returning home, the road was covered with water but rain had stopped.

Anyway, you all stay well and enjoy your day.:)

Hello.
I had a nice Wednesday, staying over son's home to watch grandson. Early Thursday morning woke up 5:30 am in total panic about AccessARide in three hours. I made myself so sick. They did pick me up, took me home, with detour for other passenger. Nothing was wrong except me. Arrived hom 1030. Shook all day in panic.

I think I will move myself to the mental health section. Not right now, but in near future.

Made appointment today with new podiatrist. Will leave here at one pm. Then, hopefully can do some shopping on way home.

Hot again today with a better chance of rain than the past couple of days. Flowers have been watered, laundry started. Nothing left to do except shift laundry to the dryer and start the second load. Oh...and fold it all when it's done. Yawn🥱

@Trila Plugs? What did I miss and what are "plugs"? As for Goober (and any other pets that anybody has), it hurts when pets are unwell and don't speak English. The only way I can tell when Maggiecat doesn't feel up to par is watching to see if/how much she eats.
My Mom had "punctal plugs" installed in her tear ducts yesterday.

Goober is feeling much better....making a little piggy of himself at the feed bag! 😁

Hello! First of all, I happy to have WiFi again! It was out when Dio got home yesterday (1:00ish), and was still out when I went to bed.

I didn't miss the WiFi too much when I got home (4:00ish) yesterday.....I laid down and slept for 3 hours!!!!! When I got up, I needed to wash dishes and head out to do my chores! Lucky, there wasn't too much that actually had to be done, so I still had play time with Goob.

YESTERDAY:
My dental appointment didn't go as expected. He fixed the cavity, easy enough. But while doing his final polishing, he hit the tooth next to the one he had just fixed, and about half of a filling from that tooth cracked off. So he had to fix that one, too! He ended up doing 2 for 1! 🙄

We had time to get coffee and to stop at the hardware store before Dio dropped me off at the eye doctors office. I was there a half hour early, and my Mom was already there! 😏

Her procedure went really, really well! So well, that my Mom didn't even know that it was done! As we were leaving, she asked me when she needed to come back, for the doctor to put the plugs into her eyes. 😆

After her appointment, we went to the store. From there, it was back to her house where I did a few misc jobs for her. It's no wonder that I slept so long when I finally got back home!!! LOL

The day started out sunny and warm. Now it's raining although the radar says it isn't and won't start until around 3. 🤷‍♀️

My hands got cold, and when my hands or feet are cold, I'm cold all over. Right now I'm wearing fingerless gloves. I'm thinking about putting on a sweater! Yeah. July. Most days our temps are in the 90s, and the a/c is set at 75.

Because we had more rain again last night, no watering was needed this morning. That's a good thing. I just wasn't feeling it today after being glued to "Hoarders" most of the night. I swear the bedroom TV has got to go!

Yes I am liking the nightly storms watering everything!

I got rid of my bedroom TV a few years ago. I rarely miss it.

After a quiet week at home mostly in front of my big 32 inch 4k computer display, yes, will again enjoy a long 7 hours afternoon of outdoor street rock/pop music from 3 cover bands in an upscale city's art & wine festival, 14 miles away. 2muchfun for an old guy. Today is unusually hot 94F outside, I'll avoid, but tomorrow Saturday, will be cooler, just reaching a pleasant 83F.

An update from my morning post,I met the instructor Susie in the fitness center, at 9am I didn't; care for any of the pieces of equipment, told her I was a life long walker but plan to come to the exercise class which lasted 45 min
My body certainly got a workout in the best way, stretching/bending,this should work for me. When I got back to my apt I iced my shoulders,I'll see how sore I am tomorrow

Gym, dentist, rest, recovery yesterday. Dinner w golf buddies and wives.

Today another ride, the purpose was to locate several points of interest for future trips. I did that and only managed to get myself in one spot of bother and it was all a result of not sticking w the plan. My single track skills are virtually non-existent but I decided to attempt to reach Wildhorse Lookout via Wildcat Canyon. I made it about 1/4 mile past the stand of trees on the lower right.

I debated going down this, I was off script here, and I did go down well under control but could not make it back up. I dropped the bike 4 times in the process of climbing out so I had to find an alternate route up, which I did.

Then I went back to the plan lucky to escape w/out injury or having to ask a rando for help getting my bike back up the hill. It's steeper than it appears.

The road looks really nice on the map!

This is a distant view of Broad Canyon.

And the small stream is Bellas Creek.

Trip time was 6 hours, 120 miles, 10 on pavement, the rest off. Saw 8 antelope, but no deer, elk, or grouse.

I love doing that, now its UTV and Golf Carts. Motorcycles and hiking, not so much! ... :ROFLMAO: ...

I went to the supermarket this morning; had to get almond milk, yogurt and bread. I threw in a couple of mini ice cream sundaes, as well. :p
I was on the phone with my online bestie, "Li'l Sis", while looking at more of my Ancestry DNA matches. Damn, I've got some good looking people in my matches! Li'l Sis is really into filling out my family tree and keeps finding more relative with surnames I never heard mentioned before. She also found out that we share common relatives. I'd love it if she finds out we're cousins. We've been pondering "what if" for years.

Tonight, I was on the phone with Li'l Sis again when HS#3 called and said be ready in 20 minutes. We took a ride to Amazon Fresh so he could get water. After leaving the store, we walked around in the parking lot of the strip mall a couple of times just to take in the nice breeze and get a little exercise. Besides talking with Li'l Sis today, I had a nice conversation with my Honorary Daughter this afternoon.

Dear me! When sitting on the teeny, tiny patio with my coffee this morning, I could "smell" the heat already. I had made up my mind yesterday to get out in the garden and get 'er done. Maybe not. Maybe I should go out there right now?

Wut wo...I just read an article about chores we had to do as children to "build character." The only chore my siblings and I didn't do was churn butter. Reckon that explains a lot;)? All for lack of having to churn butter. Sigh.

I can feel the humidity sitting here next to the window. 🌄
I finished crocheting a hat for DGS yesterday and I'll finish one for DD #1 today. I have a late summer, fall wreath to finish.
Sourdough dough day.
No outside chores today. Maybe some dead heading.

Sometimes I hate people. Not really, however, I was walking across the parking lot road at Hobby Lobby. A car came racing around the corner and stopped right at me. I got to the side of the road and stopped and looked at him as he rode by. He slowed and asked, "Are you ok?"
I said, "Well, I really didn't want to get run over today." He smiled and said, "Oh, I wasn't going to run you over." and rode off. So what was he doing? Just scaring the old lady, I suppose.

Then I was at a business and across the street was the side of a hotel and a dumpster. A man got out of his car and threw his trash next to the dumpster. He couldn't even raise his lazy, but perfectly young, strong arm to throw it over into the dumpster.

DH stopped to get non ethanol gas for the lawn mowers. There was an error on both pumps. He went inside and asked about it. The twenty something man said you had to pay ahead on those pumps. DH says give me ten gallons. Guy says, "You have to give me a dollar amount". DH asks price per gallon. "I dunno". DH: Give me twenty five dollars worth and asks, " What if I don't get that much? Will it adjust it?" Guy: I dunno.
Finally, the man who drives the big tanker that fill the tanks tells DH yes it will adjust it as they look at each other like 🙄.

This is the world we live in kids.
