@Babs2u, when I read about your nosebleed it reminded me of my grandmother’s first nosebleed ever. I was just a kid. They came with an ambulance and she was hospitalized for a few days. I have no idea if she was on blood thinners 60 years ago. Scary situation. Good luck recuperating.
My Mom had "punctal plugs" installed in her tear ducts yesterday.Hot again today with a better chance of rain than the past couple of days. Flowers have been watered, laundry started. Nothing left to do except shift laundry to the dryer and start the second load. Oh...and fold it all when it's done. Yawn
@Trila Plugs? What did I miss and what are "plugs"? As for Goober (and any other pets that anybody has), it hurts when pets are unwell and don't speak English. The only way I can tell when Maggiecat doesn't feel up to par is watching to see if/how much she eats.
Yes I am liking the nightly storms watering everything! The day started out sunny and warm. Now it's raining although the radar says it isn't and won't start until around 3.
My hands got cold, and when my hands or feet are cold, I'm cold all over. Right now I'm wearing fingerless gloves. I'm thinking about putting on a swearter! Yeah. July. Most days our temps are in the 90s, and the a/c is set at 75.
Because we had more rain again last night, no watering was needed this morning. That's a good thing. I just wasn't feeling it today after being glued to "Hoarders" most of the night. I swear the bedroom TV has got to go!
I love doing that, now its UTV and Golf Carts. Motorcycles and hiking, not so much! ...Gym, dentist, rest, recovery yesterday. Dinner w golf buddies and wives.
Today another ride, the purpose was to locate several points of interest for future trips. I did that and only managed to get myself in one spot of bother and it was all a result of not sticking w the plan. My single track skills are virtually non-existent but I decided to attempt to reach Wildhorse Lookout via Wildcat Canyon. I made it about 1/4 mile past the stand of trees on the lower right.

I debated going down this, I was off script here, and I did go down well under control but could not make it back up. I dropped the bike 4 times in the process of climbing out so I had to find an alternate route up, which I did.
Then I went back to the plan lucky to escape w/out injury or having to ask a rando for help getting my bike back up the hill. It's steeper than it appears.

Trip time was 6 hours, 120 miles, 10 on pavement, the rest off. Saw 8 antelope, but no deer, elk, or grouse.
