Oh, she was great! My favorite performance of hers was in the legendary Alfred Hitchcock movie, Strangers on a Train (1951) in which Lorne played Mrs. Antony, Bruno Antony's (Robert Walker's) mother. Her playing a confused nut was the perfect mother for Bruno.Marion Lorne (1883 - 1968). Specialized in playing befuddled and absent-minded older woman. Best remembered for her portrayal of Aunt Clara on "Bewitched".
