So many music posts, very few dealing with the 50s music scene

Thank you to all members who have posted all those great 50s songs on here.
So far there have been 215 posts from 46 members with 145 smashing 50s songs.
I am 63 and consider music of the 60s to be my favourite. That said, my exposure to 50s music via radio station 7QT did see me enjoy so much that was offered up from the 1950s.
I do remember that a lot of the 50s songs played on 7QT were country songs from the likes of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Kitty Wells, Eddie Arnold and all the rest.
Jazz played a part with Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, Nat King Cole cetra cetra.
Jazz was not for me.
I loved the Country songs and the high energy songs being played over the radio.
Growing up in a small country town there was no live shows, no television till 1969, so my only exposure to music was 7QT.
To this day I can thank those DJs on that very small radio station for my love of mid century music.
