My son took this a few weeks ago. I think we were watching Wheel of Fortune (7:30pm). Short nap. We are holding hands as usual. Don’t tell my wife I posted this.

I've been trying to find a place to post this silly pic of me in a plastic coat.
Here it is and a little story to go along with it.
I got it in gift from a travel agent in the days when we went to the agency and talked about it.
Must be at least 20 years ago.
It was in a very small pack and I took it every trip I made.
Never had to use it and has been in my drawer that has odds and ends that I am not ready to dispose of yet.
I am sure you all have one of those. ....
Anyway, a friend's daughter who is in in UK is a marathon runner and she sent me a pic of herself in a plastic mac during a rainy run and bingo.! ..there was my solution to that disposal
So I opened up the very small pack expecting to see a pile of 'gunk' but no....in perfect condition as you can see.
Not me! ..... the rain coat
I took this pic of myself and she is happy to have it
My friend is planning a trip to visit UK for her next marathon and it will go with her..

I have three of those, one clear, one blue and another is yellow. They are flimsy so I decided to invest ($7 and change) in a Totes, which is much sturdier, therefore heavier. I haven't had occasion to use it yet, but it's in my suitcase. Makes me think of the day I was on a bus and it had started raining. Almost every year since I've been on Facebook, I've posted a birthday selfie. Selfies always look weird to me, so for my 75th birthday, I had my son take this one. I don't like many pictures of myself, but this is one of my favorites.
