A Nice Walk ( with photos )

Today we went to the provincial park again. We walked up the road to the lighthouse and trudged our way through the nature trail. Most of the campers were gone. The camping season ended last weekend but there were a few people left , most of which had picked private campsites.IMG_0628.jpegIMG_0627.jpeg
When we walk, we walk up the road section first, then we walk on the nature trail and finally end up walking down the hill towards the end.

We looked this bush up and its called a wild burning bush. Unlike our cultivated ones, that dont have berries.

IMG_0632.jpegIt’s time for a lazy nap. I’m sure I’m not the only one having a nap today. I love my naps.
Have a great day folks.

Today we went into town , the opposite way from yesterday. The route was so colourful that I had to take pictures.

This is the view from the highway when it meets up with the ocean. It’s taken from inside the car.

No wonder I couldn’t find you.;)
Ya must have got in the wrong plane ✈️ @PeppermintPatty :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Sydney - Wikipedia , we traveled over and under the Sydney harbour bridge in April this year

It has a giant tunnels ( in the water ) for traffic …it’s horrible I didn’t like it at all….its freezing cold 🥶 and very polluted ….and it cost us $30 .09 in Toll fees ( we don’t have tolls in SA )

Thanks for sharing your Sydney photos. I hate traveling through tunnels. It makes me very claustrophobic. I read that Sydney is one of the world’s most interesting cities.

In June 2024 it had a population of 5.5 million the largest city in Australia ….id hate to lives there it’s so polluted ….
id think the population has increased dramatically in a year + with immigration

I hate the tunnels as well, they are a huge pipe …it was scary ….as there was something wrong with the ventilation system where we traveled via the tunnel ….so lights were flashing …saying speed ~ limit was 30 km hour ….flashing ~ signs saying stay in your car ,~ and keep your windows up ….:eek: there are several tunnels , the one we was in was 9 km long …

Today we went on a completely new walk. It was 15 degrees and cloudy. We walked about 3 1/2 to 4 kilometres. It was an atv trail runnng between a variety of fresh water lakes. IMG_0676.jpeg
it was so quiet and peaceful. IMG_0680.jpegIMG_0681.jpeg
Then there was a sign directing us to Mill Lake which we followed.

And this is Cranberry Lake. My husband was really hoping to find some cranberries but didn’t. He wants to make cranberry jam.

Have a nice day.

Today we went up on Mountain Road, which is a rural dirt road made for trucks to get trees for various reasons. It was 21 degrees and sunny. We walked about 1,hour and 20 minutes . The trees up here turn a lot redder than the ones on the highway. I took a lot of pictures of the trees I saw.

We walked to ‘Little Lake’ and back.
Here are pictures of the lake.

We found an ATV trail that goes to a river that we will walk on another day. We walked a long way already today.
Generally we never see a soul up on these trails but today we saw an ATV with 4 kids in it.
