Think I mostly notice overall appearance, then
If I am standing closer to him, I will notice more particulars, like his eyes and smile .

His eyes and lashes. If his smile is soft, all the better. Another thing I look at right off the bat, is the thickness of a guy's neck. It can tell you if he was a wrestler and that is a turn-off for me.

The first thing I notice is her nails. If she has nice nails, then I know she takes care of the rest of her... and also smiles...

What they're doing and saying. Physical appearance in generally secondary.Never thought of that...we need the women on this site to respond to that conclusion about the nails..

Their expression, if I see someone looking depressed or lost I will nearly always make contact in a way
to get them to smile. I hate to see people looking like no one notices them. Man or woman. Not in

I used to have a standing appointment every week for a manicure; my nails were beautiful. Always dressed nicely. Then I moved to this rural place requiring hard, dirty, physical work. Everything changed. Now I am satisfied if I can just get clean.

I always strike up a conversation with a complete stranger, and when it's time to go, we are both laughing and smiling...
I have a strong feeling that there are some very nice women out there who may not have the cleanest of nails for different reasons. Men, we need to go beyond that nails appearance assumption as this member so clearly and honestly pointed out.
