Just finished a load of laundry.

We use the cheaper, overnight electricity.........and detergent. Up at seven this morning, unloaded the laundry from the machine, sorted it all, took a view on the weather as to apraise if it's worth going out to dry on the rotary airer. Decided not to risk it, we have had Biblical rain in the last two days. I shall leave the laundry in one of the spare bedrooms. That bedroom has become the laundry room since the acqusition of an indoor, heated, rotary airer.

I enjoy the fragrance of freshly washed clothes, which just doesn’t happen with no detergent, or even unscented detergent.

I am choosy about laundry detergent, and choose based on fragrance more than anything else.
Ditto. I also like the scent of freshly washed clothes. The scent of the pods is a big factor for me when purchasing detergent.

I love taking a bath, which I do most mornings. I leave the water in the bath and drop in any clothing that could do with a bit of a soak before going in the washing machine. White socks and items of underclothing as well as T-shirts will soak for a few hours while I attend to other matters.

After they go through a wash cycle, I peg them on the line and let the sun and wind do the drying. Everything smells so good after this process, and it uses a lot less electricity than using a drier.

I have a soaking cycle on my washing machine. I have cut my laundry soap usage in half; I use about a cap full of shout and let the washer soak. My clothes seem to get cleaner using the soak cycle.

I don’t like fragrant laundry soaps. My son was skin sensitive so I used original Dreftfor the laundry when he was a little tyke. I am outside all the time and smelling too fluffy draws insects that I don’t want to have a conversation with🤠

What fragrance? I prefer Gain. I love the fresh smell.
