Oh, it's still wonderful..... Everything was fixable; I just wish every place had a sign on the door that said, "Jujube, there's no reason to come in because we don't have what you're looking for!".....LOL.

Sharon Osbourne who has taken Mounjaro to excess now... at the beginning she said it made her sick for 3 months...I started that Mounjaro on Sunday. Yep, it works, appetite totally gone but I have been really sick. Stomach aches, I ate toast and soup and even that makes me sick. I slept really good couple of days ago but know I have been up going on 28 hours.
Took a muscle relaxer, that did not help. Took a xanax, did not make me sleep but helped the headache belly ache. I just think my body had got to get used to this new thing. I was worried about giving the shot in my belly but it did not hurt at all!!
I do know your body has to adjust to any new med. I have no intention of losing that much weight....all the celebs that do this are nuts. We are not meant to be that thin IMO.Sharon Osbourne who has taken Mounjaro to excess now... at the beginning she said it made her sick for 3 months...

you're going to be very succesful, I'm sure. For a start you're 100 % more inteligent than these celebrities who have used these weight reducing drugs to excess.... ..and if you find that your body can't cope with the mounjaro...then there's other alternatives similar drugs... I wish you everything you wish for yourself..I do know your body has to adjust to any new med. I have no intention of losing that much weight....all the celebs that do this are nuts. Then they have a face lift, do all these fillers and botox, which them appear like cartoon characters. I just need to get some weight off, help lower my A1C and feel better. I must confess I just bought a bunch of new clothes on good sales. They are for my size now not smaller. I like my clothes to be loose, don't like tight things so I hope to still be able to wear them.
OMGoodness HoneyNut. Sounds exactly like what I go through with ice cream! So I feel for you. I have a bunch of Russell Stover sugar free chocolate-pecan and choc-coconut candies here. I bought a few bags months ago at a good price on Amazon. I keep them in a cool spot but have only eaten a few pieces, so I hope they don't get stale. I eat chocolate in spells.I'm having intrusive thoughts of chocolate candies. A few weeks ago I bought a bunch of kinds to put out by the elevator for my neighbors next week, but I kept getting into them and finally gave up and put the remaining ones out the past few days.
Now there are no more chocolates in the house and I'm suffering withdrawal, can't stop thinking about chocolates with toffee pieces, with mint cookie pieces, with candy cane pieces, etc. We live in the most wonderful age of chocolate. Oh no, now I'm thinking about fudge, luckily there is no cocoa in the house.
Today (in between visions of chocolates) I went and saw a model train setup at the local Botanical gardens, I particularly liked the toy people and animals in the exhibit. Here is a funny scene of dogs waiting for the fire hydrant:

Holy moly Jujube!!! Unbelievable. I hope that at least what you ordered from Amazon comes in time for Christmas. My day today has been an exercise in holiday frustration.
I drove to Hobby Lobby to get some beading supplies, a gift certificate and a book on beading for one of the Littles. They had lots of beads, but no books on beading.
I then drove to the mall (yes, I know I've vowed to not go to the mall, but....) to get a book and a gift certificate from Barnes & Noble for another Little. Not only did they not have the book (even though they said they had it), the computer was "down" and they couldn't activate gift cards. Arrrggghhh.
So I then drove many more miles to Michaels (of course, none of these stores can be anywhere near each other). They don't seem to answer the phone so I took a chance and went there. Nope, they didn't have the book. So I sat out in the parking lot and ordered one from Amazon that...I HOPE...will get here by Christmas.
I went to Ross to see if I could find some pajamas for my Granddaughter. None I'd consider giving to anyone I liked. I also tried Marshall's and Target. Nope. Scratch the idea of pj's. I'm finished with pj's. She's getting money.
Since I absolutely REFUSE to return to the mall to get the Barnes & Noble gift card, I decided to buy a book and put 20 dollar bills in some of the pages. Stop at the bank to get nice crisp cash and think...aha, I'll use that debit card that I have a couple of thousand of dollars on (that's how the people at my last clinical trial paid me for participating). Nope, didn't work. The expiration date was in October. No problem, because I was assured by a very nice young man who spoke excellent, if accented, English that the money was safely there and he'd immediately send me a new debit card. Didn't help me today, so I had to use my regular debit card to get cash.
Stopped by a store to get a certain kind of candy for the Spousal Equivalent. They were out of it.
I decided I would drive through McDonald's to get a 4-pack of chicken nuggets (the only thing I'll eat from McD's except for their french fries) and they were closed for remodeling.
I decided it was time to head home and sob for a while. No, I didn't really cry. I groused and moaned to the Spousal Equivalent until he was tired of hearing about it and here I am.
Bah, Humbug!!!
