As a child, I would lie on the grassy lawn 🌿 and observe the bustling life teeming within the miniature ecosystem 🐞. Different bugs of various shapes and sizes inhabited their own tiny forest 🐜, creating a fascinating world. I could spend hours watching the intricate activities unfolding before my eyes 👀. It was almost as entertaining as watching television 📺. 😊

The world of insects is really interesting. I like insects, but I don’t like the fuzzy ones, like caterpillars🐛. Even though they grow up to become butterflies🦋, I only like the butterflies, not the caterpillars. 😂

When I was a kid, one of my favorite books was The Insect World of Fabre. I loved the content, and I’m not sure if you’ve read it, but even now I still find it really interesting.

Pissebedden
Literally translated piss beds.
I always wondered why.
The name "pissebed" dates back to the 16th century and is likely a translation of the French "pissenlit." It refers to the folk belief that dried and ground woodlice were effective as a remedy for bedwetting (pee-in-bed). They were also used as a diuretic for kidney problems.
But they can't roll up in a ball. Never seen those.
