On day 10 of the Iranian revolution, the Ayatollah has fled

As with most autocracies, the leaders insist on absolute loyalty or they become very vindictive. Non-supporters are considered enemies of the state who are relentlessly rooted out and destroyed, either by public belittlement, execution, or prosecution and imprisonment.

What's condoned: crimes of excessive force, illegal search and seizure, lack of due process by police, military and government officials, and judges who nod in agreement.

This is what's going on in Iran.

Also other places on this planet.

This is probably all a bunch of misinformation. How does anyone really know what happened or is happening now with a total blackout in Iran?

That isn't a very reliable channel, Dennis. Their reports are mostly rumor, sensationalism, and plain BS.

Two reliable ones are Tousi TV and Goldie Ghamari. Both these channels have journalists and family members in Iran who all have StarLink and send info and video whenever they have internet connection. Both channels post daily reports.

Mayar Tousi is himself an Iranian. His mother brought him out of Iran when he was young, and he's lived in the UK ever since. Because he still has family members in Iran and speaks the language, he can understand everything that's said on any video feeds that come out. So he can translate exactly what's happening in the country. As such I think he's fairly reliable as a source of information as to what's actually happening there.

The Ayatollah ordered the killings. After thousands of innocent deaths, his military started joining the protesters to form what they're calling "the Revolutionary Army."
aya·tol·lah
[ˌʌɪ(j)əˈtɒlə]
noun
ayatollah (noun)
ayatollahs (plural noun)
  1. a high-ranking religious leader among Shiite Muslims, especially in Iran

And he has followers that do what he says ? Is there nothing in their religious guidance that says not to kill innocents?

First-hand account from an Iranian citizen (in Iran) who was able to message a relative in England just hours ago:

“The IRGC sprayed a gathering of people with gunfire. They chased us, and kept screaming and shooting at people trying to escape down alleyways on foot and on motorcycles. I was crying the entire way, running while people around me were shot in the back and in their faces, falling, bloody, and crying out. It was hell.

"They stacked up the bodies for display. They entered the hospital and dragged the injured and sick outside. A nurse said she could not even count the body bags. They shot at families who came for their relatives, then threw everyone out of the hospital, including the gravely ill and people attached to IVs, and shot at them, saying “Now go and tell America to help you.”

"We saw hell with our own eyes.”

has this planet ever known peace in its existence?
Yes, for over a thousand years after the fall of the Roman Empire.

More recently, the number of international wars decreased from a rate of six per year in the 1950s to one per year in the 2000s. Civil wars have broken out here and there. The one in Sudan has been ongoing for decades.

As it currently stands between the IRGC (Iran regime) and the IDF (Israel)....

IRGC: You shoot first.
IDF: No, you said pre-emptive. Don't you know what that means? You have to shoot first.
IRGC: Lost my dictionary; you to shoot first.
IDF: You have to shoot first.
IRGC: Ok, I'll shoot first.
IDF: No, I'll shoot first.
IRGC: You can't; it's pre-emptive.
IDF: *F* pre-emptive; I'm shooting first.
IRGC: No, I'm shooting first.

etc.

the world seems to be divided into "democracies" of varying degrees and "non-democracies" of varying degrees - the demo's seem to allo a lot of free will and activity including religions - the non demos seem to need to control more and we can all list them quite easily? why not just ignore each other and get on with our own lives??
