What is your favorite part of a chicken to eat and enjoy?

My favorite is baked chicken legs.

I of course enjoy other parts of a chicken to
cook/bake and eat, but for me it's the LEGS.

Anyway, this topic is anything about chickens,
could be serious, funny or however you would
like :)

An odd thought, but I wonder if chickens dream?
Yes

Chickens do dream, as evidenced by studies showing they experience Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep, similar to humans, dogs, and cats. During this phase, their brains are active, suggesting they may process memories or "relive" daily experiences like foraging or exploring.

Key details about chicken sleep:
REM Sleep: Chickens go through REM, the, stage associated with dreaming.
Unihemispheric Sleep: They can practice "unihemispheric slow-wave sleep," where one half of the brain sleeps while the other remains awake.
Safety Mechanism: This allows them to sleep with one eye open to watch for predators.
Vocalizations: They may make quiet noises while dreaming, indicating active brain function during rest.

I find these sweet facts interesting :)

My favorite is legs & thighs which is so much juicier. I like baking the legs & baste them with mild buffalo sauce. You have more meat to eat than what's on wings.

Unless I have bone-in/skin-on chicken breasts, I don't buy them anymore. Much too dry no matter how I try to cook them.
