    Hi Bill and welcome to SF. My gardening is largely with flowering shrubs. This is Ohio, where weather patterns often have no pattern to them at all! But, I do plant a few tomatoes, green peppers, and potatoes. I also have perennial flowers and bulbs in rock gardens. I really do love my rocks!

    I'm probably more qualified for growing rocks. My wife has the green thumb, she does our vegetable garden, and our landscaping...but I do the maintenance after she gets everything set the way she wants. I must say, I'm glad she takes interest in making our home look welcoming and our garden produce. We usually wind up giving away tomatoes, squash, peppers and egg plant to our neighbors.

    I'm jealous of your wife! I have to PAY for someone to do the yard maintenance - and he has limited availability this year!
