    I get that completely. Restoring or renovating takes a lot more energy than people realize! Still, it must be nice to have a place with that kind of history and comfort. Do you ever miss doing hands-on projects like that?

    I've never done any restoring. Our house was built new 20 years ago so its only history is us. :) My husband was career military so we rented wherever he was stationed until he retired.
