“And she’s buying a stairway to heaven” What are your thoughts?

Here on earth, money can buy most anything from organ transplants to the presidency of the United States. It is no secret that affluntial people pull the strings with enough money, perks and favors to get what they want by the influences and power they wield. Unions are created, alliances formed for the future leaders of each great nation sometimes in complete disregard for the common people.

It’s a different world, I will never know. Power has it’s own consequences, failures and pitfalls, uncommon to the poor but equally as dangerous having more than less.

How did we get here where power dictates the course of society? Charismatic attractive people have it made in life because people trust them based on appearance and the promise of a better life or return to former idalistic state of being. It is all BS but, as humans we are never satisfied with the present, always looking to make things better. That is our downfall. Never satified. Greed and the desire for more is our demise.

I thought it was either that....money buys happiness game, or the famous drug addict that keeps getting higher till she actually OD's and goes to heaven. The desire to live, gives us energy to grow...so there is nothing wrong with ambition. Misplaced ambition is interesting. I am sure everyone can relate to that. I don't believe in heaven so I see it just as a trip up the stairs, but she will come down and walk around most of the time.

Robert Plant also sang: "If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now........" I heard the song was written in 48 minutes and he was just rhyming stuff as he went along. Interesting, as he hates the song and his charity had to be paid a million bucks for him to sing it again, and decades ago he paid a radio station never to play it again.
