1.9 Million dollars for a bottle of whiskey!!

Funny thing, been cleaning out cabinets and closets in this big old joint. Hey, we've lived here for 35 years...hub, mom and I basically built it ourselves. Folks can't believe it, but with that said, hub put in a lot of storage. You know how it is, often just don't get to looking at things if you have a lot of space and proper stowage.

Anyway, cleaned out a cabinet near the bar and found a beautiful box. Years ago, we were in the medical equip. business. We produced a catalog and a happy client of ours in Long Island had given this to us one Christmas. It was a bottle of brandy. Looked it up and it was worth $3,600!

I think If I didn't need the money, I would invite some close people and drink it.

Well, its still sitting there...lol. Think if we have a very special occasion, like if and when son ever loses that weight he's carrying around with him, then it would be worth it.

Thing is, neither one of us are much for "hard stuff". Cook with Cognac or brandy, but not much for taking a shot. We love our wine. Personal new favorite wines are the Liberty Creeks... unbelievably cheap and some of the best wines either one of us have tasted!

Give me the money and I will buy a bottle of Vanilla Crown Royal and invest the rest!

I tried the maple flavor and woke up the next morning with maple flavor I could not get rid of so it's back to the regular Crown for me.
