So far it seems like salaries & distribution to some questionable non profit organizations

The foundation is a Pennsylvania-based non-profit that has a rather small charitable footprint. According to Li, the foundation allocates just 33% of its annual expenses towards charity.

The rest reportedly goes to administrative costs, which includes executive pay. For example, Cynthia Kennard, executive director of The Annenberg Foundation, earns nearly seven figures per year in both salary and bonuses.

Fox News contacted more than 70 of those non-profits. Some replied. Others declined. Some are well known like the Boys and Girls Club, YWCA and Meals on Wheels.

Others are more obscure or promised to help specific ethnic groups or artists.

One that promoted "self-determination in the Latino community" vowed to use their FireAid grant to create "a more humane and democratic society by responding to the needs and problems of disenfranchised people."

Another claimed to use natural helpers or 'promotores' to "cultivate egalitarian relationships based on trust and respect."

Money is important when rendering aid after a catastrophe but there seems to have been a de emphasis on stuff and the actual services people need and transition to money(oh it's better just to buy exactly what they need). But money has to be managed and tracked. Which means more than direct aid workers have to be hired.

I remember the United Way scandal in the 1980s and ever since then I've been leary even with the Red Cross because I heard not so great stories about them with money.

These organizations and people have to remember it's about aid, not how much money they raised.

Those types of investigations are going on in California right now. Most those using Government Grant funds inappropriately.
My son's boss and the Payroll Manager were taken out in handcuffs for stifling off just under 75k between the 2 every quarter of the year since
2016. Payroll out to city workers that were never used/seen by any of the city's Departments (road, maintenance, etc) Things like that. My son kept daily logs of the workers he used and what job and how long the job took. They went over his logs for 3 days and found his accurate, but not once did he list the ghost employees. Just one example I know for a fact of.

The $100 million was farmed out to charities. Charities, like people, have their own agendas. There is one $19/month charity that has $6,700,000,000 in the bank. For some strange reason, we don't directly give money to the people who need it, because they might misuse it. So we give it to questionable charities, with questionable abilities and questionable ethics.
