12 ga Compound Bow

its only a single shot, waist of time, when he gets multiple shot capability it will be interesting, one of those did it to see if it could be done things.
 
Christine and I were both Champion Archers. In the day. We were in the Grand national archery club.
We played competitions all over England. Plus a lot of Charity shows.

I would like to see him hit the Gold if he he was shooting a York competition or a FITA with an ordinary bow.
We used to teach Blind Archers too.Has well as other disabled people.

My wife and I were also in a local archery club. We went to several shoots around NYS. Nothing big. Just a small club. This was, however, before the compound bow was popular. I also hunted with a Fred Bear hunting bow. I believe it was a 45 or 50 pound pull. Wish I had some pics but I don't think I have any.
 
because he is shooting about 400 pellets, depending on the shot size used, he would probably hit the bulls eye over a 100 times , depending on the distance and the choke in the shot gun barrel, however the lethality would be less , due to the cutting edges on a good hunting tipped arrow.

your comment on blind archers is very interesting, and I have no doubt this can happen, this is one of the basis of contention in allowing blind people to have firearms, and is a big issue--- please elaborate if you have time.
 
Cause a crossbow rigged up with a shotgun is more fun?? :playful: There's still a lot of bow hunters in my area, who use the traditional bows.
 
If you hunt during the bow season, you must use a bow by law, if you hunt by bow during rifle season - you better be wearing hunter orange-- and get there really early. most states don't allow bow hunting during rifle season -- too busy. If your hunting during bow season with the above shotgun bow, you would be fined. So what does all this mean? apparently the bow string can deliver enough energy to ignite a shotgun shell.-- amazing.

some hunters still use black powder rifles
